Charity Support
We support various charities from year to year. In 2012/2013 we will be supporting the following:

- IRISH BAKERS BENEVOLENT SOCIETY - Now in its 17th year, the IBBS was founded by Gerry McNamara, Sean Maguire and Pat Smyth to address the situations where want and need arose for colleagues in the trade.
- RNLI The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide, on call, a 24-hour
lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboats, and since 2001, its lifeguards, have saved more than 140,000 lives. The RNLI is an independent charity, funded by voluntary donations. They could not save lives at sea without the public's support.
We funded two new life jackets in March 2012. One was for the Newcastle, Co Down Station and the other was sent to Bundoran, Co Donegal. Read news article.
- AGE NI Age NI is the new charity combining Age Concern NI and H
elp the Aged in Northern Ireland. They deliver care services, provide advice and advocacy, fundraise and influence our decision-makers to improve later life for us all.
- CLIC SARGENT CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading c
ancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
