- IRISH BAKERS BENEVOLENT SOCIETY - Now in its 17th year, the IBBS was founded by Gerry McNamara, Sean Maguire and Pat Smyth to address the situations where want and need arose for colleagues in the trade.
- RNLI The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboats, and since 2001, its lifeguards, have saved more than 140,000 lives. The RNLI is an independent charity, funded by voluntary donations. They could not save lives at sea without the public's support.
We funded two new life jackets in March 2012. One was for the Newcastle, Co Down Station and the other was sent to Bundoran, Co Donegal. Read news article.
